The vaccination process is in full swing across India to prevent corona infection. Multiple vaccines have already appeared in the country's market. Covishield and Covaccin are reaching more and more people. But which is more effective? Which vaccine can make more antibodies? Everyone is curious about it. And to satisfy that curiosity, doctor AK Singh and his colleagues conducted a special study. What do the results of the survey say?
The doctors conducted a survey of more than 500 health workers who had taken two doses of Covishield and Covaccin. It has been found that Covshield is capable of producing more antibodies than Covaccin. In other words, Covishield is more effective than Covaccin in the fight against the deadly corona virus, the study said. However, doctors have advised not to be confused with the vaccine. According to them, after getting vaccinated with Covishield and Covaccin, everyone's body is developing immunity. Both vaccines are effective in preventing coronavirus infections.
How was this survey? The survey was conducted on 553 health workers. Among them 325 are males and 228 are females. Of these, 456 have been given Covshield and 97 have been given Covaccin. It was found that 96.1 per cent of the health workers who took Covishield and 60 per cent of the health workers who took Covaccin produced antibodies. A special blood test showed that Covishield recipients received 115 arbitrary units of antibody titer per milliliter. Covaccin recipients received 51 arbitrary units of antibody titers per milliliter. Needless to say, the survey report has not yet been published. This information has come up as a result of preliminary survey.
It is to be noted that in the beginning, there was a lot of objection from the health workers to the general public about the complete indigenous vaccine Covaccin. But later that objection was removed a lot. However, many are not skeptical about the effectiveness of Covaccin. Although researchers, experts or physicians say, the two vaccines are quite effective in the fight against corona.
