According to a study on the genome, the coronavirus was found in East Asia about 20,000 years ago. The report is published in the journal Current Biology. The study was conducted jointly by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the University of Arizona, the University of California San Francisco and the University of Adelaide.
According to a researcher from QUT University, this study is an attempt to know the evolution of the human genome. It is known that coronavirus had a foothold in East Asia 20,000 years ago. The character of that virus is very similar to the character of today's coronavirus. The virus is endemic to China, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea and Taiwan. Naturally, the question arises as to how the common man was saved from this deadly virus at that time. Studies have shown that this type of epidemic causes the human genome to undergo extensive changes and the body develops immunity against many viruses.
